Multi Reagent Chemical Ionisation Mass Spectrometry (Mr CIMS)

Trace gas detection

Chemical ionisation Mass Spectrometry is a standard technique for detecting trace gases and high time resolution and sensitivity. The new Multi Reagent (Mr) CIMS allows simultaneous operation of up to six reagent ions, measuring a much wider range of compounds without requiring a radioactive source. This also means reduced power consumption, weight, gas consumption (90% reduction), increased mass resolution, more stable sensitivity and the potential for remote operation.
