By carFrom London and the SouthM1 north to junction 13. Take A421 in the direction of Bedford, then immediately first left, signposted to Salford and Cranfield University, first right at Salford. Go straight across the first roundabout, right at the second, then left at the third. At the mini-roundabout (Garage on your left) turn right, the entrance to the university is first right – signposted ‘Main Reception’. From Birmingham and the NorthM1 south to junction 14. Take A509 in the direction of Wellingborough, then immediately first right, proceed through Moulsoe, then turn left following signposts. From Bedford and the EastA428-A422 west to Astwood (7m), then left following signposts. Or A421 south-west through Kempston then right through Wootton (5m) following signposts. From Oxford and the WestFollow A34, then A421, to Bicester, Buckingham and Milton Keynes. In Milton Keynes follow signs to M1 North (junction 14). Then proceed as from Birmingham and the North. (For those with a car GPS, the postcode MK43 0AL will get you to campus, but you’ll then need the map on page 4 for the last bit.) By trainBedford Midland Road on London St Pancras – Leicester line. A bus service is available from Bedford to Cranfield University. Milton Keynes Central on London Euston – North and North West line. Frequent and fast services. A bus service is available from Milton Keynes bus station (very near to the Railway Station) to Cranfield University. Also a free University bus service is available Monday-Friday leaving Milton Keynes (Coachway, Railway Station and John Lewis) about 1015, 1200, 1445 and 1630, then returning from Cranfield to Milton Keynes at 0920, 1120, 1420 and 1600. This must be booked via the Cranfield Transport Office on 01234-755331 or 754774. By planeLondon Luton, from here you can catch a train direct from Luton Airport Parkway Station to Bedford. London Luton Airport is situated just off Junction 10 of the M1.
